I can die and be able to say i had a McDonald's Big Mac. Why do i feel the need to share this useless information? My roommate was so surprised when i said i never had one, that i think we should all document when we finally do get the chance to enjoy (or not) a Big Mac.

As much as i love my new home i sometimes reminisce about my late night drives through south jerseys desolate streets...the street I'm on is Washington Street with Madison Avenue crossing it...the one with "Quick" is located at (if i remember correctly) Mill and Pine Street...i took these (no photoshop) from inside Halle my long gone hatchback...so many memories in that car...so many miles and cities driven through so many people met and so many friends made

So the first movie i saw this year was "Slumdog Millionaire"...simply put this movie is Amazing...beautifully filmed,great script, characters and im a sucker for fairy tale endings...anyways...i have a habit of taking movies and flipping them in my head to reflect life...

We are all Jamal (the main character) in a way...ALL of us...we are all "Always" in the hot seat and the lives we live "Is" Who Wants to be a Millionaire...in the movie Jamal was asked questions...in life we are asked questions (in the form of questions,problems and situations)...he answered them correctly by recalling on his past experiences...we answer lifes problems by recalling on past experiences (no matter how simple the problem)...his prize is he gets to stay to answer some more questions and win more money...our prize is we get stay alive,solve more problems but our prize doesn't come in the form of money...it does sometimes but very rarely...our prize for surviving this game called life is more answers for the futures problems...it might not be the entire answer but our past experiences definitely helps with clues as to how to approach the next question..."Who Wants to be a Millionaire" in this case IS "LIFE"

I chose to make this my first blog for 2009 so you all don't say "2009 here we go...new beginning...fuck the past"...the past is great...your here because of it...if your in a good situation in life GREAT!..keep doing what your doing and further your situation even more...if your seat in life is not so great then sit down and analyze how you put yourself there...maybe it wasn't your doing but it doesn't matter how you start...it matters how you finish...look back and hopefully you see that life already taught you the lessons that will help you now...

So i finally get in touch with one of my home girls who about 3 weeks ago moved to Texas...mad happy for her b'cus its a chance for her to live...theres only so much living you can in one place or with a certain circle of friends...life gives us so many different options and varieties that when we don't give it a go we miss a chance at experiencing another side of lifes multifaceted brilliance..Jac! its gonna start slow but take in all the good and not so good that everyday offers...ive come to find that theres never really a "bad"...the "bad" just makes the "good" so much more positive and amazing that it should be appreciated and understood not only in hind sight but also as it is happening...this move might seem like "just a move" but this is another episode in your lifes movie where new characters will be introduced and serve to make the story of your life more interesting

Aside from wanting to say "hi" to my girl JacMac im writing because ive always been interested in how one decision you make along with one or few decisions made elsewhere (whether your aware of them or not) would eventually come to affect your life

Think about it...from the very first person in your family tree all the way to you,certain events had to take place in a certain way in a specific order for you to eventually become you...if i forget how to count past 10 i would never give audible birth to 11, 12....this might seem elementary but i think its important to realize that statistically we should not be here...BUT WE ARE...this kind of thinking makes me appreciate my situation(s) even more...if an ancestor died,if it wasnt that specific sperm and egg combo or if after that whole fertilization process some complication had arisen,i might not be here,i might be here but it might not be this face with this personality...you folks would be missing out on my greatness...so let be thankful that my dice rolled the way it did b'cus you might not know me as me and thank yours that your dice rolled that way b'cus you might not be here...enjoy your days/nights and live it up

The night started with me chillin' with my young girls when i got the craving to eat after Marisa stated she was headin' out for some Indian food...thought of the "spot" i've only heard about and with some convincing from Lindsey saying "I want some heavy food,that food that sticks to your ribs type food!"...BET!!!lets go...Got King Cannon, met up with the ladies and bounced (this entire time walkin' Liz is keepin' track of her Lakers who eventually won...FYI)...after gettin' them lost for about 6 blocks through some hood/border of the Tenderloin Loin District areas we bang a U-Turn and thats where i snap these two young boys out kickin' pushin' near City Hall...So we find the "spot" and chill outside for a minute on the corner of Turk-N-Mason waitin' for our table (forgot to mention that upon our initial entry to the "spot" we were all blown away at the contrast of mood and class with the restaurant and its environment...anyways)...snapped some Graf as i got hassled by the not so fortunate for some change...so we get inside (still amazed at the interior) order the food (as we wiped the druel off our lips) and admired the 1)choice of music 2)the workers attire which was basically whatever they felt like wearin' DOPE! and 3)the art work...im not the best writer so im just gonna' stop here and tell all you folks readin' this to take my word along with Liz and Lindseys that "Farmer Browns is off the chains, crazy dope,hella bomb!" whatever...thnx for the company ladies <3

This was the first party i hit up when i got here...Cousin P's boy Tim was showin' his "Light Bright" pieces along with some handpainted joints inside of the Stussy store on Haight Street...Yes the "Pink Panther" piece is made out of little tiny light bright pegs that were individually placed...that's hours upon hours of work considering there were about six other pieces...I have more pix but "F* you pay" im tired..this is all you get : )
